Microsoft Training Never Really Ends

It took some time, but now you're finally used to Microsoft Office 2003. Maybe you can't do anything too sophisticated, but you can troubleshoot problems, create presentations, edit documents, manipulate information through Excel, and organize your life with the convenient mail client, Outlook.
But now that you've finally reached the summit, you realize there's another set of peaks that you couldn't see from the base. These extra peaks are Microsoft Vista and Office 2007.
Time to Update Your Microsoft Computer Training
Despite Microsoft's earnest efforts to simplify the new interface of its Office Suite, early reviews of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint suggest that many users may feel overwhelmed by the radical new look. Buttons are no longer in the familiar places they used to be, and with more options at their fingertips, users face new responsibilities. One could even say that, aside from the Microsoft logo, the new Office bears little resemblance to previous versions. While all these changes may prove positive in the long run, they also serve as a reminder that your Microsoft computer training is out of date. If you want to stay abreast of all the recent changes, seek out some additional Microsoft computer training.
Are There Alternatives to Microsoft Computer Training?
You could refrain from installing Vista and Office 2007 on your computer for a while, or make the transition to OpenOffice or Google Docs (which many have done). To date, however, neither alternative offers the range of functions available in the Microsoft Office Suite. The most practical way of dealing with change is to embrace it. If you get started now, you'll have plenty of time to spread your wings before Microsoft overhauls another operating system. When it comes to technology, it pays to remember—you'll never actually reach the mountain top, only ever intermittent plateaus.
