IT Administrative Jobs Move America

It's been said that the most important asset of any company is its employees. It can also be said that the second most important asset is a company's information, served up in a way that empowers better decisions and more effective work.

Delivering information well is the goal of good information technology (IT). An advantage in IT can help a company quickly pull ahead of competitors. An overall advantage in IT has helped the entire American economy compete globally. Ever-increasing computer power, lower technology costs, and more effective uses of IT have been prime drivers in boosting US productivity during the last ten years.

The overall result is this: if you have expertise in IT, today's organizations want you and will pay well for the difference you can make. Information technology jobs make up most of the 20 career fields predicted to grow the fastest, says the US Department of Labor.
Technology Degrees Open the Door
Technology degrees from good schools prepare graduates to reap the rewards of the IT administrative jobs that are in demand. Coursework will sharpen both your technical AND business skills, because leaders in a company's IT group play a key role in setting overall business strategy. Your coursework might focus on areas such as network administration, intranet site management, security, e-commerce and wireless.
